Hardware Hackathon

Event Description:

A hardware hackathon is a meeting of some of the most creative and tech-savvy minds and a breeding ground for innovation, as participants collaborate to try and create something entirely new and unique as quickly as possible. Groups will design and create a new prototype from scratch, using only a collection of provided materials.

Rules:

  • The event will be conducted for two day.
  • Every team contain maximum 4 members.
  • Teams should make their project onsite.
  • Once the time of hackathon stop, all the team should stop their project.
  • Winner will be declared by judges via different judging criteria. The decision made by the judges will be final.
  • After the completion of hackathon, each participating team should display their project to the public.


Judging Criteria:

  • Hackathon Theme โ€“ How the idea is related to the hardware hackathon’s theme.
  • Quality of idea โ€“ Originality and Creativity.Implementation โ€“ How the idea can be implemented in the society and future aspects.
  • Completion โ€“ How much the work is completed.
  • Design โ€“ How does it look from the outside and how much is the system efficient.


Disqualifiction:

  • Failing to comply with the rules of hardware hackathon will result in disqualification of the team. 
  • Showing unnecessary, violence, undisciplined and offensive behavior is strictly prohibited.

Certificate Policy:

  • Certificates for participation will be given to all the participants  if they  didnโ€™t meet the criteria of disqualifications.
  •  Every winner will get a Certificate of Excellence. 
  • Teams that are eliminated from the competition for breaking the rules will nnot be eligible for the certificate.
