The SCARA is a type of industrial robot. The acronym stands for Selective Compliance Assembly Robot Arm or Selective Compliance Articulated Robot Arm.SCARA is a robotic arm whose general configuration is analogous to the human hand. It has three degrees of freedom in which servo-controlled joints are the shoulder, elbow, and wrist. It works based on the reverse and forward kinematics. Its most distinctive feature is the entirely beltless structure.
